Veridex was established in Kuala Lumpur by a small group of consultants who had each spent the better part of a decade inside large advisory practices. What they found, over time, was that the most consequential conversations with clients rarely happened in the context of large-team engagements. They happened in smaller rooms, with fewer people, and with more time allowed for the question at hand.
The firm was founded with that observation as its organising principle. Engagements are kept to a contained scope. The consultants who take the initial brief conduct the work. Findings are written down — not summarised in slides — because the discipline of writing tends to sharpen the discipline of thinking.
Veridex works primarily with mid-sized organisations across Malaysia: privately held businesses, family-managed firms navigating generational transitions, and subsidiaries of larger groups that need a perspective from outside the parent structure.

Intellectual Honesty
We say what we observe, not what we think the client wants to hear. Where our findings are uncertain, we say so explicitly.

All engagements produce written outputs. We believe that clear writing and clear thinking are closely linked, and that organisations deserve documentation they can return to.
Deliberate Pace
Executive decisions benefit from time. We do not manufacture urgency. Our engagements are scoped to allow real reflection, not just rapid delivery.
Confidentiality
Client information is treated with discretion. We do not discuss engagements externally, and we do not use one client's circumstances to inform another's without consent.

How We Conduct Our Work
These are not aspirations. They are the practices that govern every engagement, from the initial conversation to the final handover.
Mutual NDA Before Any Briefing
A mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before any substantive conversation begins. This protects both parties and establishes the right conditions for candid discussion.
Defined Scope Before Commencement
All deliverables, timelines, and fee arrangements are agreed and documented before work begins. Scope changes are handled through written addenda, not verbal adjustments.
Senior-Only Delivery
Engagements at Veridex are conducted by the same senior consultants who take the initial brief. We do not staff work to analysts following an initial meeting.
Written Outputs as Standard
Every engagement concludes with a written document — not a deck of slides. Written findings allow for precise language, clear attribution, and a record that retains its value over time.
No Implementation Dependency
Veridex holds no implementation arm. We have no financial incentive to recommend one course of action over another. Our advice reflects our analysis, not our follow-on commercial interests.
Data Handling with Care
Client documents and internal data are handled in accordance with Malaysian data protection law and our own strict internal access controls. Data is deleted at the conclusion of each engagement unless otherwise agreed.

The organisations Veridex works with are, in most cases, ones that have achieved a degree of scale without a corresponding investment in formal strategic infrastructure. They have grown — often deliberately, sometimes faster than anticipated — and now find themselves at a juncture where the methods that served the early years are less suited to the complexity of the present.
Our work does not attempt to impose a generic framework onto that complexity. Instead, we spend considerable time understanding the specific circumstances of each organisation: its leadership structure, its commercial history, the relationships that hold it together, and the pressures, internal and external, that are creating the need for external perspective.
Business consulting in Malaysia operates across a wide range of firm sizes and industry contexts. Veridex is deliberately positioned at the mid-market: large enough to warrant structured engagement, small enough for the conversation to remain personal. Chairpersons, chief executives, and executive committees across the Klang Valley and beyond have worked with Veridex on questions spanning strategy, operations, governance, and leadership continuity.
We do not advertise outcomes or cite case studies without permission. What we can say is that the organisations that have found our work most useful tend to be ones that entered the engagement willing to hear a perspective that differed from their own — and left with a clearer picture of the decisions ahead.
