Case Study 01 · Strategic Diagnostics

A Services Firm Before a Planning Cycle

The Situation

A professional services firm with 90 staff had grown steadily but was approaching a planning cycle without a clear sense of where to direct investment. Leadership had differing views on which service lines merited expansion.

The Engagement

Over six weeks, Veridex conducted weekly working sessions with the leadership team and reviewed commercial data. The diagnostic identified two service lines with strong margin profiles that had been underweighted in planning conversations.

The Outcome

The written assessment became the working document for the subsequent planning cycle. Leadership reported that it resolved several long-standing points of disagreement by providing an external frame of reference.

A Manufacturer Evaluating Structural Fit

The Situation

A mid-sized manufacturer with 180 staff had grown through two acquisitions in five years. Reporting lines were unclear, decision-making was slow, and several departments had overlapping responsibilities.

The Engagement
